From Madrid: you have two possibilities, via Alicante or via Valencia. We would recommend you to come via Valencia as there is less traffic on its by-pass than in Alicante, hence it is quicker.
From Valencia: take the Autopista del Mediterráneo motorway (A7) to Alicante. At 120km from Valencia (60 from Alicante) take the exit “Calpe/Benissa”. The first village you come to is Benissa. Follow the signs to Calpe and once there, (see map), take the Calpe-Moraira road to the kilometric point 2.5. There is a sign saying “Restaurante Timón, Club Náutico Les Basetes and Las Antípodas”. From Alicante: Very easy... Take the motorway Autopista del Mediterráneo (A7) to Valencia. At 60km from Alicante you will come to the exit “Altea-Calpe”; You then have a 10km drive to Calpe.
